Guess who’s back, back again…
(Sorry. I just go too excited that I’ve managed to post a whole 4 weeks in a row! Rounds of applause please!)
There isn’t much that Edinburgh doesn’t have – except for decent shopping. For somewhere so small, it has a lot going for it. A zoo, a dormant volcano, a month long festival, countless restaurants, a ski slope, multiple caves and even a beach!
I did some more exploring of Edinburgh last week, with a trip to Portobello beach. It’s only 15/20 minutes on the bus, so it’s not that far out the city. Don’t get me wrong it was freezing but you forget you’re in Scotland (kinda). And I’m sure it’s lovely for that one day of summer up here 😉
Any who… I thought I’d share my OOTD. One of my most recent purchases is this gingham jumpsuit from Glamorous via ASOS. The picnic print is huge for SS17 but still classic as it’s monochrome. It’s pretty thin and summer-y but can easily be layered with jumpers and t-shirts, either under and over to be trans-seasonal… #value.
I also replaced my Topshop black coat with this Zara number as my other one has gone very bobbly… plus, Zara had a mid-season sale. Surprisingly, it fit with the sleeves rolled up. FINALLY. You don’t understand how many coats I have to return being just 5ft.
So I decided to wear both, obviously. But seeing as it was so windy, I layered the jumpsuit to look like trousers with a chunky navy ribbed jumper (similar). And to ensure I could walk around and carry all my shiz, I wore my trustee white Converse and Zara backpack (similar). Practical, comfortable and stylish?
You can be the judge…
