Edinburgh is full of food. Places are popping up all the time, and my bank account cannot afford to try them all!
Last week, at the West End of Edinburgh, we stumbled across Foundry 39, who serve burgers, pizza, drinks and brunch!
We rocked up at around 4.30pm so we just made it in time for the lunch menu which means you can get a burger and house fries for £6 – what’s not to love. The mushroom burger was pretty good, and I’m assured by the non-veggie friends that they also enjoyed their choices.
However, we did spend 10 minutes picking from the brunch menu because we were too excited for food – to only get told when we were ordering that it was only Sat/Sun. Oops, I’ll just have to go back again!
The interiors are something to gawk at, filament lights, turquoise velvet chairs and copper/wood walls – it was a great vibe.
Check it out if you’re in the area, I can imagine the copper bar is pretty lively at night too!
